Police respond to report of marijuana odor

Jan. 11, 12:49 p.m. — Police responded to Hamptons Building 1 after management reported that there was a smell of marijuana in the hallway. Police found the apartment that the smoke was coming from and the tenant said she had smoked, but it was gone and police did not find paraphernalia in the apartment. No charges were filed.

Jan. 11, 10:16 p.m. — Police report that an elderly woman crashed her car into a snowbank on the 24700 block of Maidstone Lane. She was charged with drunken driving and reckless operation and transported to the hospital.

Jan. 13, 2:24 a.m. — A car was stopped at Shaker Boulevard and Richmond Road by police for traveling the wrong way. The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and having an open container.
