Burglary alarm scares would-be burglar
Monday, April 11, 7:25 p.m. – Police responded to a home in the 3200 block of Richmond Road on a burglary alarm. They found $200 in damage to two door frames but nothing was stolen. Police believe the home security alarm deterred the burglar.

Tuesday, April 12, 1:52 p.m. – Police noticed a vehicle with no front license plate parked on the street on the 2500 block. Police spoke to the person in the car and checked his ID. He had an active warrant from Lyndhurst so he was arrested. When police searched the man they found marijuana in his pocket.

Tuesday, April 12, 3:45 p.m. – Police responded to the after someone reported that three children, aged 2, 4 and 6, had been left unattended in a car. A few moments later their mother came out and police spoke to her. They did not file charges but they did notify family services officials.
Car stolen from apartment building parking lot
Tuesday, April 12, 7:25 p.m. – A woman reported that her car was stolen from the parking lot of Beachwood Villas South at the 3400 block of Green Road. No suspects have been identified.
Juveniles charged with stealing $100 of merchandise, receiving $470 of stolen property
Tuesday, April 12, 7:58 p.m. – Three juveniles, ages 16 and 17, were arrested and charged with stealing $109.97 of merchandise from at the When the officers searched the teens, they found $470 of stolen merchandise and the teens were charged with receiving stolen property.
