Men load carts with drinks, chips, try to leave store
Wednesday, July 25, 4:47 p.m. — Two men were spotted walking carts full of beer, soda, milk, chips and energy drinks out of without paying for them, said police. One man made it to the parking lot, but then abandoned his cart and ran.

The other man tried to exit through the entry doors and couldn’t get out, so he left his cart in the store and ran toward Richmond Road, where police found him. Police say he passed out and may have had a seizure after they found him. He was transported to the hospital and charged with theft.

Son charged with burglarizing parents’ home
Thursday, July 26, 2:49 a.m. — A Beacon Drive resident called police to report a forced burglary where $200 of property was damaged or stolen. They suspect their son of committing the crime. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
