Suspended driver strikes police cruiser

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 8:34 p.m. — An officer sustained minor injuries when his cruiser was hit by another car in the parking lot of the Beachwood Place Mall and, when the officer ran the driver’s license, he discovered that it was suspended. The man was ticketed.

Driver arrested for 21 license suspensions

Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1:39 p.m. — Police responded to a car crash on Chagrin Boulevard and Belvoir Road. The driver at fault was arrested after officers found that he had 21 suspensions on his driver’s license.

Department store employee arrested for theft

Wednesday, Oct. 10, 12:30 a.m. — An employee at Marshall’s department store was arrested and charged with stealing from the store and possession of marijuana.
