Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault in Beachwood Hotel
Michael Allen Jr. of Shaker Heights, sexually assaulted girl beginning when she was 12
A Shaker Heights man was sentenced to 15 years in prison today for raping and sexually assaulting a girl over a period of six years, including once at a Beachwood hotel.
Michael Allen Jr., 42, pleaded guilty to 30 felony counts today, including 18 counts of rape. He also pleaded guilty to counts of gross sexual imposition, kidnapping, for having a nude photo of the victim on his cell phone and other charges.
The girl was 12 when the incidents began, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, and continued until May 2010, when she told her grandmother.

Allen will be classified as a Tier III sexual offender, the most serious classification.
