A Twinsburg man was arrested at the last week after police say he left his two-year-old in the car.
Police were unaware of how long the child had been left alone, but she was not injured.
Curtis Thomas, 22, was charged with child endangering, a first-degree misdemeanor that carries a sentence of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
The child was sleeping in her car seat at around 4:30 p.m. April 18 when mall security spotted her, according to police. Thomas returned to the car about ten minutes after police arrived.
Thomas was released on a $5,000 bond and is set for arraignment in Shaker Heights Municipal Court May 15.
