Monday, June 18, 4:42 p.m. — A man reported that someone keyed his car while it was parked at Commerce Park Square IV, 23240 Chagrin Boulevard. Damage is estimated at $1,300.

Handgun turned in
Wednesday, June 20, 12:55 a.m. — Someone turned in a handgun they had found in a Beachwood home they were cleaning after its resident died.

Customers distract store clerk, steal cell phone
Wednesday, June 20, 5:46 p.m. — A GNC employee reported that a customer distracted her while another customer stole her cell phone, valued at $250, from the counter at the store.
Juvenile not charged for cell phone theft
Wednesday, June 20, 5:54 p.m. — A man reported that a juvenile stole his cell phone from him in the parking lot of the Beachwood Place Mall. The phone was located and returned to the man, who decided not to pursue charges.
Laptop reported stolen from office building
Wednesday, June 20, 7:33 p.m. — A woman reported that her $2,000 laptop top may have been stolen from Parkway Medical Building, 3609 Park East Drive.
