FirstMerit Bank Robbery May Be Part of Serial Crimes
FBI suspects a serial bank robber in eastern Cuyahoga, western Lake Counties; surveillance photos released
The FBI suspects a serial bank robber has been hitting institutions on this side of Cuyahoga County and western Lake County for at least a month.
Spokesperson Scott Wilson said that the man who may have been involved in the June 7 robbery of the same bank and other robberies in Lyndhurst, Willoughby and Willoughby Hills.
The suspect is a 6-foot-tall black man. Witnesses said he showed a black handgun and demanded money during Friday’s robbery.
