Fake License Plate, Gun Brandishing and I-271 Speeding: Beachwood Police Blotter

Fake License Plate

Beachwood police pulled over a car on I-271 near the Chagrin Boulevard exit because they spotted a fake license plate on it at 6:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. Turns out the driver also was driving with a suspended license and had a warrant for his arrest in Bratenahl.

A woman brandishing a handgun at Yours Truly Restaurant on Chagrin Boulevard at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7 was charged with aggravated menacing. 

Drunken Driving

Police charged a man with drunken driving and failing to stay within the marked lanes of the road at 12:40 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 11 at Shaker Boulevard. and Green Road.

I-271 Speeding

Police stopped a driver on I-271 near the Cedar Road exit just after midnight, Sunday, Aug. 11. He was cited and taken to the station for processing because he is a citizen of another country.
