Laptop stolen from Chagrin office

Thursday, April 26, 4:07 p.m. — China Centric Association, 26949 Chagrin Blvd., reported a laptop, valued at $1,500, was stolen from the office.

Kids playing behind vacant home

Friday, April 27, 6:26 p.m. — Someone reported that kids were playing in the backyard of a vacant home on Campus Drive. Police responded and told the kids not to hang out on the property.

Driver travels wrong way on 271

Sunday, April 29, 2:59 a.m. — A driver was stopped by police after they said he was going the wrong way on the northbound express lanes of Interstate 271 near Fairmount Boulevard. He was arrested and charged with drunken driving, possession/consumption of liquor in a vehicle, violating divided highway restrictions.

Ring reported stolen

Sunday, April 29, 8:06 p.m. — A resident of the reported a gold ring stolen after she hired someone to clean her apartment.
