Over $300 in sunglasses stolen

Friday, Aug. 10, 7:58 p.m. — Sunglass Hut at reported that three pairs of sunglasses, valued at $325, were stolen. No suspects were located.

Driver of disabled car arrested on rape charges

Sunday, Aug. 12, 2:23 a.m. — Police stopped at a broken-down car at Cedar and Richmond roads and, when the driver showed ID, found out that he was wanted on a Cuyahoga County Sheriff arrest warrant for rape, kidnapping and other charges.

Counterfeit bill passed at garage sale

Sunday, Aug. 12, 6:49 p.m. — A woman reported that someone paid her with a counterfeit $20 bill at her garage sale.
