Man charged with shoplifting at mall

Dec. 22, 5:51 p.m. — A man was arrested at Sephora at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with shoplifting $171 of merchandise.

“Batman” causes alarm at mall

Dec. 23, 5:57 p.m. — A 17-year-old male was arrested at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with disorderly conduct after police say he ran through the mall wearing a Batman mask and a hood, “causing annoyance and alarm to shoppers,” the report states. An off-duty sheriff's deputy visiting the mall made the arrest with the help of mall security, police said.

Sunglass theft leads to arrest

Dec. 23, 6:46 p.m. — A man was arrested at the Sunglass Hut at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing $138 of merchandise.
