Beachwood Man Damages Restaurant Lights Over Taxi Dispute

A Beachwood man damaged the lights outside a Solon restaurant after he became angry at a taxi company.

The 34-year-old man called the company from July 1 and they told him that a cab would arrive at 3 a.m. But police say that when, at around 2 a.m., he found out that two other patrons would be transported before him, he became angry and damaged two lights outside the restaurant.

He was arrested and charged with criminal damaging.
