Beachwood Family Fights for Custody of Russell Sneiderman's Kids

Andrea Sneiderman, widow of slain Beachwood native, was charged with murder last week.

The family of slain Beachwood native Russell Sneiderman has filed for emergency custody of his children following Thursday's arrest of their mother on murder charges, according to Atlanta's 11 Alive News.

Russell was gunned down in a daycare center parking lot in 2010. His widow, Andrea Sneiderman, has been charged with murder in connection with his death.

Andrea Sneiderman's boss Hemy Neuman and testified that the two of them had had an affair.

Russell Sneiderman's parents and brother live in Beachwood and with Russell's children since Neuman's conviction.

The petition, filed Thursday, alleges that Andrea Sneiderman's family has interfered with the murder investigation, and that, even if Andrea were bailed out of jail, her erratic behavior and the media attention surrounding the proceedings would prevent her from providing a stable home for their two children.
