Aggressive deer chases man onto jungle gym

Monday, July 25, 9:03 p.m. — A man called police from the top of the jungle gym at  because an aggressive deer chased him up there and he was stuck. He added that the deer had chased him up there before. When police arrived the deer had retreated to the woods and the man was down from the jungle gym. The officer told the man to call police if it happened again.

Rabbit caught in basketball net

Wednesday, July 20, 4:41 p.m. — A resident called police to report that a rabbit was caught in basketball netting at a Duffield Road home. Officers responded and released the rabbit.

Duck flies into window, breaks neck

Saturday, July 23, 7:35 p.m. — The Montefiore Home called police because a mallard duck flew into a window of the building and broke its neck. Maintenance removed the bird.
