$3,000 of purses lifted

Wednesday, March 30 12:25 p.m. – Dillards at the Beachwood Place Mall reported that $3,000 of purses were stolen from the store by two women. One of the stolen purses was later found on Orchard Way but police have no known suspects.

Thursday, March 31, 4:54 p.m. – An 18-year-old man from California was arrested at the Hilton Inn’s parking lot and charged with disorderly conduct for throwing snowballs at cars on Interstate 271. No damage or injuries were reported.

Saturday, April 2 – A woman fled from police after she stole a purse from Nordstrom’s valued at $695. She sustained minor injuries from the incident and was charged with robbery and grand theft.

Computer stolen from apartment

Saturday, April 4, 9:09 p.m. – A resident reported that a Macbook laptop valued at $2,000 was stolen from his or her apartment. No forced entry was noted.

No forced entry in $3,000 cash theft from Chik-Fil-A

Saturday, April 9, 12:52 a.m. - Chick-Fil-A reported to police that $3,000 was missing. There was no forced entry and police have identified a suspect.

Woman complains that guard shoved her

Sunday, April 10, 1:51 p.m. – A woman told police that a security guard at the Beachwood Place Mall had shoved her after telling her to leave a restricted area of the mall. Police did not charge either party but passed the information to the city prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
