Caravan stolen from driveway 

Wednesday, Aug. 24, 7:01 a.m. — A resident of the 2700 block of Richmond Road reported that someone stole his van, valued at $3,010, from his driveway overnight. The car was unlocked and the keys were stolen from another car in the garage.

Car accessed without permission; nothing stolen

Thursday, Aug. 25, 9:07 a.m. — A resident of the 25900 block of Hendon Road reported that he believed someone accessed the inside of his vehicle without permission, but that nothing was missing. He said that the car’s visors had been repositioned.

Woman: Drunk Man Solicited Sex

Thursday, Aug. 25, 5:44 p.m. — A woman reported that a drunk man was soliciting sex in the parking lot of the 3750 Orange Place. He got into his car and drove to the Hampton Inn, and the woman left the scene. Police did not find the man.

Woman reports being threatened

Thursday, Aug. 25, 6:35 p.m. — A woman reported that a man pointed and yelled at her while she was driving on Fairmount Boulevard in Beachwood.

Adult charged with helping juvenile shoplift

Thursday, Aug. 25 7:25 p.m. — A juvenile was arrested at Dillard’s at the and charged with shoplifting a pair of jeans valued at $37.99. Police found the stolen jeans in an adult male’s possession and charged him for receiving stolen property.

Customer leaves Ruby Tuesday with $3 bill

Thursday, Aug. 25, 9:21 p.m. —  reported that a party left the restaurant but were $3 short on their bill. The restaurant did not file charges.
