Beachwood Adds Four Police Officers to Force

Beachwood Law Director Margaret Cannon swore in the new officers during a council meeting June 17, 2013.

During a swearing in ceremony June 17, the city of Beachwood welcomed four young men to its police department.

Anthony Gray, Jr., Benjamin Bouw, Monica Svigel and Blake Rogers replaced the four officers who have retired in the last two years from the department.

"They’re all top notch. They’re the cream of the crop and we’re happy to have them," Police Chief Mark Sechrist said in a Cleveland.com story

The police department now has 44 officers.
