Fugitive Wanted for Ramming Police Car, Fighting with Officers

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jamale Thompson.

Jamale Thompson is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of felonious assault on a police officer and failure to comply with an order.  

According to authorities, in February of 2012 Thompson led Cleveland Police on a high speed pursuit driving on sidewalks and cutting through parking lots causing numerous crashes and nearly running over several pedestrians.
Thompson then forced a police cruiser off the road and rammed another police car before bailing out of the vehicle he was driving, and fighting with police, according to a prepared statement.  After a brief struggle, Thompson was taken into custody.  He was then was released on bond and failed to show back up to court.

Thompson is a 25 year old black male about 6-feet tall and 225 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be hiding somewhere in Cleveland, according to officials.  He also has a previous address near the 3500 E. 106 th St. in Cleveland.
