Attempted Burglary, Road Rage Dot the Beachwood Blotter

Monday, Jan. 10

8:48 a.m. – An employee at Jule at the reported that someone had committed fraud by debiting the store’s corporate account to add funds for gift cards.

11:38 a.m. – A Bank of America employee reported that another employee might have had a gun on the premises in February 2010.

4:58 p.m. – Two juveniles were arrested at  at the  and charged with stealing three pairs of jeans at a total value of $109.97. They also had stolen merchandise from Hollister with a value of $357.06.

Tuesday, Jan. 11

9:43 p.m. – A Wimbledon Road woman reported that her husband had been drinking and broke items in the home. No arrests were made.

Wednesday, Jan. 12

2:36 p.m. – A woman reported that a man in a white Lexus had threatened her during a road rage incident near the exit from Legacy Village at Cedar Road and Richmond Road. The man’s car was not found.

3:40 p.m. – Fredrick Merideth, 44, of Bedford Heights, was arrested at Dillard’s at the  and charged with stealing five men’s watches with a total value of $839.

3:57 p.m. – Police found pry marks on a window and footprints in the snow outside of a Haverhill Court home after responding to a burglary alarm. No suspect was found and no successful entry was reported. 

Thursday, Jan. 13

4:30 p.m. – Joseph White, 44, of Cleveland was arrested at Supermarket, 24601 Chagrin Blvd., and charged with stealing groceries valued at $71.68.

Friday, Jan. 14 

1:25 a.m. – Two men were found sleeping in a car near Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond Road. The driver was cited for reasonable control and the passenger, Craig Seaborn, 29, of Cleveland had an active warrant in Middleburg Heights and was taken to that police department. 

3:07 p.m. – A female juvenile was arrested at  at the   and charged with the theft of 42.98 in merchandise. 

Saturday, Jan. 15

5:14 p.m. – A juvenile male was arrested at  at the  and charged with receiving $308 of stolen property from Abercrombie and c. 

6:07 p.m. – A juvenile male was arrested at  at the  and charged with stealing $227.90 of clothes from and Hollister.
