Andrea Sneiderman Perjury Trial Jury Selection Begins

Andrea Sneiderman faces charges that she lied to authorities during the investigation of her husband Russell Sneiderman's death

Nearly 300 people were called to the Dekalb County courthouse to be screened as potential jurors in the perjury trial of Andrea Sneiderman, MyFoxAtlanta reports.

Sneiderman has been accused of committing perjury during the trial of her former boss for killing her husband, Beachwood native Russell Sneiderman.

Three murder charges against the widow were dropped Friday after prosecutors said that they were not confident they could secure a conviction. They alleged that she conspired with her boss in the murder plot for a life insurance payout.

Now Sneiderman faces four counts of perjury, seven counts of making false statements and one count each of hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
