Accused shoplifter fights with security
Tuesday, April 2, 9 p.m. — Police say a woman fought with security at the entrance to Nordstrom at the Beachwood Place Mall. She was detained and charged with shoplifting $918 of merchandise.

Woman escapes authorities at Dillard’s
Wednesday, April 3, 1 p.m. — One woman got away after police say she stole $237 of merchandise from Dillard’s at the Beachwood Place Mall, but the woman police say was her accomplice was arrested and charged with stealing $537 of merchandise.

Woman charged with stealing and receiving nearly $450 of mall merchandise
Wednesday, April 3, 7:30 p.m. — A woman was arrested at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut and receiving stolen property from Dillard’s, Chico’s, Ann Taylor and Sephora. The total value of the merchandise was $444.95.
Breaking and entering at Sprint store
Saturday, April 6, 5:29 a.m. — The Sprint Store at 22839 Chagrin Blvd. reported that someone broke in and stole four phones valued at $2,499.96 between 3:15 and 3:20 a.m.
Woman charged with over $1,300 in stolen clothing
Sunday, April 7, 4:15 p.m. — A woman was arrested at Dillard’s at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with shoplifting $1,362.99 of clothing.
