UPDATED: 20 People Escape Edgewood Road House Fire

No serious injuries reported in fire that started in upstairs bedroom.

A house fire occurred at 2547 Edgewood Road at around 11 p.m. last night, according to the

A press release reports that 20 people ecaped the fire, which began upstairs, but the department does not know how many of those people were residents.

According to the Cuyahoga County Auditor, the 2,400-square-foot home has five bedrooms.

Fire personnel from Pepper Pike, Lyndhurst and Univeristy Heights assisted in putting out this fire.

Damage estimates and the cause of this fire are still under investigation, the department noted.
