From the Librarian's Desk: There's an App for That, Too

Cuyahoga County Public Library one of first in country to roll out free app

Cuyahoga County Public Library is one of the first public libraries in the country to offer customers a smartphone app. CCPL Mobile is the name of this exciting new feature that brings customer convenience to a whole new level. The CCPL Mobile app is available to CCPL cardholders to download free from the app stores of all smartphone and tablet platforms.

With CCPL Mobile you can self-check-out materials, access your account, search the catalog with minimal keystrokes, reserve and renew items, check the programming calendar, search online newspapers and magazines and read book reviews and summaries.

You can also use it to find library branches and hours, text questions to the KnowItNow 24/7 reference service, and connect with the library on Facebook and Twitter.
