Elsa 'Elsie' Wolen, 94, Lifelong Volunteer
Services were held July 25 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
Elsa "Elsie" Wolen, 94, passed away July 23, 2013.
She was born in Tiffin, OH, and served as a volunteer for much of her life.
Elsa was the beloved wife of Leonard Wolen (deceased); devoted mother of Nancy Wolen, Betsy (Evan) Nyer, and Jim (Judy) Wolen; grandmother of Anne (Jeff) Shields, Jennifer (Justin) Tetrault and Lee Wolen; great-grandmother of Nick and Rebecca Tetrault; sister of Dave Gottlieb and Maxine Basch (both deceased).
Services were held July 25 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Mayfield Cemetery.
Contributions can be made to the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland or to ORT Cleveland.
