More Rain Could Cause Flooding

Storms expected to drench the already saturated ground this weekend

The ground hasn't had a chance to dry yet, and more storms are on the way.

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch until Sunday morning for Cleveland this weekend, as rain is expected to move through the area tonight and Saturday and drench the already soaked ground. There is a chance of thunderstorms and rainfall up to 2 inches, with higher amounts possible in some areas.

The ground is already saturated, so even if we don't see heavy rain, flooding is likely along some bodies of water, according to the NWS.
