Culinary exploration of Cleveland

The Mandel JCC’s Adults on the Go program will feature a program called “Travel with Laura Taxel—Eat Globally: Dine and Shop Locally” from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17.

Taxel, author of “Cleveland Ethnic Eats, A Guide to the Authentic Ethnic Restaurants and Markets of Greater Cleveland,” will take attendees on a culinary exploration of the Cleveland area. The group will visit little-known or often-overlooked markets offering exotic spices, traditional foods and an international array of unusual ingredients. Have a lunch (not included in fee) in a special ethnic restaurant.
