Beachwood Pet Lodge USA Opens
Pet care center opens just in time for summer vacation season.
Beachwood is home to a "pet hotel" as of Monday, June 3.
Pet Lodge USA opened the doors of its Beachwood franchise Monday.
Owner Dan Kryzanowski has been working on the new business for over a year, since he asked Beachwood's Planning & Zoning Commission to allow him to build his kennel in a former fur vault in Commerce Park.
Pet Lodge USA has two dog villas — one with a city theme, and the other Old-West style — open for business, as well as cat condos and facilities for daycare, overnight or extended stays for bunnies, birds, ferrets and turtles.
The facility at 23370 Mercantile Road is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and the facility is open for walk-in tours during business hours.
Dog daycare is $19.50; overnight $29.50.
Cat daycare $15.50, overnight $19.50.
The lobby is open from 7 a.m. to noon and from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
