Meet George Washington at the Maltz

Re-enactors to discuss lives of four U.S. presidents in honor of Presidents Day

Celebrate Presidents Day at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Re-enactors will be on hand Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. to discuss their lives and commitment to American freedoms. The event is free with museum admission and the presidents’ favorite snack will be served.

The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Guided tours will also be given at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. and a self-guided “staff picks” tour will be available all day.

This month’s Object in Focus is the Olympic uniform hat and other artifacts from former Olympian and Shaker Heights native David Berger and the Jesse Owens and 1936 display is still on display.
