Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

Free admission to all Museum galleries and special programs. Participate in the Museum's tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. with guided tours of "An American Story," where the stories of how individuals overcame discrimination, prejudice and adversity come to life. There's a special jazz, blues and traditional musical performance at 1:30 p.m. called "Unchained: From Slavery to Civil Rights," which features vocalist Evelyn Wright accompanied by Roots of American Music artists bass-master Ray DeForest, keyboard player Joe Hunter and guitarist Kevin Richards.
