Interior Design Workshop: "Seasonal Tablescapes"

Interior designers Amy Douglass and Katie Heinz of the Interior Design Studio, LLC in Medina show how one can extend the life of traditional table décor by decorating for the seasons rather than specific holidays.

The mother and daughter team plan to showcase styles for the fall and winter -- inspiring one to transition the table throughout the year.  They will also introduce "out of the box" color schemes in lieu of the typical red/green/gold shades, as well as interesting uses for materials such as feathers, birds, and metallic’s.  They will even show how homeowners can extend their décor past the month-long holiday season to a “winter solstice” style with a few easy changes incorporating ribbon, silk and some sparkle.

“We will be creating several unique tablescapes, among other concepts, including the fun things you can do in that medium,” says Heinz.
