Viewfinder: Story Time at Menorah Park
Seniors and juniors gather for an intergenerational mixer
When it comes to stories, children usually listen while the adults talk. On June 22, at the Menorah Park Center for Senior Living, adults did the listening as well. The facility's residents atttended "Stories and Songs on The Go," a traveling story time sponsored by the Mandel Jewish Community Center of Cleveland.
The seniors were joined by juniors: children from Menorah Park's Fundamentals Child Care Center and youngsters from the Solon Jewish Pre-School. Activity leader, "Teacher Debbie" Friedman led the audience in song and play, all in honor of the arrival of summer.
