Have You Checked the Announcements Lately?

You can post all sorts of stuff in the announcements section, including honoring a graduate, local kids winning awards, promotions, engagements, weddings and more.

Here are some of the things that are posted now:

1. Beachwood's Summer Concert Series starts Tuesday. Don't miss Revolution Pie (the sounds of the Beatles) from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Beachwood Family Aquatic Center. The concert is free.

2. Family Connections is hosting its Dad's Day Run on June 19. The 5-mile race is open to runners and there's a 1-mile course open to walkers and strollers.

3. Laurel School junior Sarah Litt won a first-place award in the 11-17 age group in the Shaker Historical Society photography contest "Springtime Snapshots of Shaker."

4. Larchmere Porchfest starts on June 25. Thirty neighborhood porches will be turned into stages for musical performances of a variety of genres.
