Why Go: Teens age 12 to 18 are invited to create cards for families at the Ronald McDonald House to give to nurses, doctors and others who helped make their stay better in such a trying time.

12th ANNUAL UKRAINIAN FESTIVAL
Where/When: St. Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church, Parma / Friday 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday 2 p.m. to midnight and Sunday noon to 11 p.m.
Why Go: The Ukrainian Festival kicks off the summer festival series final push with live folk music, stuffed cabbage rolls, kielbasa, potato pancakes and everything you’ve grown to love.
