FUNDAMENTAL TENNIS LESSONS
Where/When: Beachwood Municipal Tennis Courts / Tuesday and Thursday, June 21 and 23
Why Go: Children learn the basics of tennis in this class for ages 6 to 12. Students attending Beachwood Day Camps will be escorted from the camp to class and those attending after-camp care will be escorted back to the after-camp program following class. Students must provide their own racquets.

SYNCHRONIZED SWIM CLUB

Where/When: Beachwood Family Aquatic Center / Seven-week session occurs every Thursday, June 16-28, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: Children ages 8 to 14 will learn how to perform synchronized swim routines. The program will end with a synchronized swim show.
Price: $40 for residents. $50 for non-residents.
Where/When: / Sunday, June 19
Why Go: Treat Dad to some lip-smacking good barbecue Sunday morning. Ribs, grilled chicken, steak, pork chops, fire-roasted corn on the cob and baked potatoes will be served.
Price: $19.99 for adults and $7.00 for kids ages 4-10. Ages 3 and under eat free.
30 ROCK’S JUDAH FRIEDLANDER AT HILARITIES
Where/When: Hilarities 4th Street Theater / Thursday at 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 10:15 p.m.
Why Go: Friedlander has become a favorite on the hit show, 30 Rock, as Frank Rossitano, sporting the same trucker hat and thick-framed glasses that he wears during his comedy shows. Friedlander also has a Cleveland connection, having played the role of comic book writer Harvey Pekar's best friend, Toby Radloff, in the film version of Pekar’s life, American Splendor.
Price: $20-$23 depending on time of show.
Where/When: St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22909 Center Ridge Road / Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Why Go: The annual festival promises indoor Greek dining, imported wine market, indoor coffee stand, pastries, outdoor gyro stand, Greek dancing and live music.
