COMEDIAN KEVIN HART AT THE STATE THEATRE

Why Go: Hart, who recently had a role in the Meet the Parents three-quel Little Fockers takes the stage for four shows at the State Theatre this weekend. Hart has also appeared in Death at a Funeral alongside comedians Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence and  in 2009 starrd in his one-hour comedy special, I’m a Grown Little Man on Comedy Central.

WILLIE NELSON COUNTRY THROWDOWN TOUR AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES

Where/When: House of Blues / Friday, doors open at 8 p.m., concert starts at 9 p.m.

Why Go: Country singer, actor and reluctant rebel, Willie Nelson has been on the music scene since the late 1950s and has since become an American icon. He’ll be performing live at the House of Blues with bluegrass artist Drake White.
