Get Out: Kid Art, Tiny Tennis and a Local Artist On Display

Plan your week around these events for kids and adults

SPLATTER PAINT AND DABBLE

Where/When: / Fridays, July 1 to 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: For ages 3 to 6, kids will enjoy arts and crafts projects, including puppet shows, costumes and props, hula hoops, balls and a parachute.

Price: $32 for residents, $37 for non-residents. A $7 fee is due for each student.

TINY TOTS TENNIS

Where/When: / July 5 to 7 from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Children ages 3 to 5 will learn the basics of tennis, including hand-eye coordination. Students must provide their own junior-sized racket.

Price: $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents

THE ART OF DAVID MOSKOVITZ: PAINTINGS AND WORKS ON PAPER

Where/When: / Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday

Why Go: David Moskovitz, a former Shaker Heights resident who died in 2008 of lung cancer, had still-life paintings and landscapes seen in exhibitions around the world. His work will be on display in Beachwood until July 17.

TEN-TEN FESTIVAL

Where/When: River Street Playhouse/ Friday and Saturday, 8 to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Chagrin Valley Little Theater’s festival of 10, 10-minute one-act plays returns featuring local playwrights

Price: Free

KID CUDI – THE CUD LIFE TOUR

Where/When: Quicken Loans Arena/ Friday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Shaker Heights' own superstar, Kid Cudi, returns to The Q to perform his latest tour.
