Why Go: It’s the last weekend to catch the exhibit.

Where/When: Shaker Historical Society, 16740 S. Park Blvd., Shaker Heights; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Why Go: Get a taste of Shaker life during the Civil War, when they were known to open their doors to both Union and Confederate troops for a hot meal and a place to rest. At a very reasonable price, you’ll get pancakes, scrambled eggs, Shaker hominy cakes, teas and jams and more.

Pricing: $2 ages 18 and up, $1 ages 6 to 18 and free for children under 6

Where/When: Progressive Insurance Headquarters, Wintergarden, 6300 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Heights; Saturday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: You’ll be supporting Beachwood High School’s Green Dream Expo, a pretty awesome, award-winning program run by high school seniors. Also, you get food from Melt, Fire, Moxie and other great local restaurants.

Pricing: $100 general admission, $175 for VIP

Where/When: Beachwood Place Mall; Sunday, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Those brows could use some TLC, plus all the proceeds will go to Sierra Club Ohio to support Aveda’s Clean Water Campaign. Call 216-292-2777 to make an appointment.
