5 Things You Need To Know

Don't be left out this week, Beachwood – here are five things you should be in on

Many of us have a short week this week, but it's certainly not short on things to do. Here are five things you should know about.

  1. Donations received at the performance of Believe to Achieve, the Jewish Family Service Association’s YouthAbility benefit Tuesday night, will go toward rebuilding an Israeli youth village, Yemin Orde, that was destroyed by a forest fire.
  2. Beachwood City Council’s meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday this week because of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
  3. The of the Cuyahoga County* Public Library is hosting a Karamu drum and dance performance Wednesday. Bring the kids for the free, public performance of a West African tradition.
  4. Learn tasting and evaluation techniques for pairing dishes with Napa Valley wines for your next dinner party. The Viking Cooking School will offer a class on food and wine pairing Friday.
  5. The benefit Write on for Israel Presents a Night at the Kibbutz Saturday will feature art, music, dance and desserts to raise money for Akiva High School. Held in the Auditorium.
