Ed Rossman, Adult Services librarian at Shaker Heights Public Library, has been appointed to a two-year term as chairperson of the American Library Association's Business Reference in Public Libraries Committee. The committee is part of the Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) of ALA's Reference & User Services Association (RUSA) and its purpose is to study, promote, and support the role of business reference in public libraries.
Ed is the 2010 winner of the Public Librarian Support Award, a conference travel award administered by RUSA for public librarians who provide business reference services.
