Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple (23737 Fairmount Blvd., Beachwood) will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Friday, Jan. 18, at the 6:15 p.m. Shabbat Service with special guests representing the Tuskegee Airmen, North Coast Chapter a group dedicated to keeping alive the story and historical importance of the original Tuskegee Airmen. Tom Cargill, President of the North Coast chapter of TAI, will speak at the Shabbat Service and share fascinating insights into this often overlooked chapter in our history. His father was a flight trainer at the Tuskegee, Alabama base. Family-friendly activities and a chance to explore a display area will be available before and after the service. After the service and a short reception, join our special guests for an informal presentation and Q & A, approximately 7:30-8:15 p.m.

Anshe Chesed Faimount Temple is located minutes from Interstate 271 on Fairmount Boulevard in Beachwood. It has several different ministries including brotherhood, sisterhood and youth groups. Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple has an on-site early childhood center, religious school and library. It also has several gardens on site, which are used for weddings, outdoor summer services and other events. Several meeting and banquet rooms for different special occasions are also available.
