Get well, get moving: start taking the stairs

No gym is no excuse for no exercise. At the the stairs are as good as a treadmill.

To encourage walking, center administrators have turned the stairwell into an exercise gallery by commissioning dozens of murals painted by high school students.

The project was conceived by Center Medical Director Dr. Tom Abelson. The coordinator was Augusto Bordelois, a painter, mural maker and teaching artist with Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio. More than 40 students from Cleveland, Shaker Heights and Berea participated in the effort.
