Air conditioners stolen

Monday, Nov. 7 —  Residents of Ten Courts at 25450 Fairmount Boulevard, Wedgewood Crossing at 3224 Richmond Road and a home on the 2400 block of Richmond Road reported air conditioners stolen.

Squirrel mistaken for burglar

Monday, Nov. 7, 5:17 p.m. —  A resident on Timberlane Drive reported that things in her home were knocked over and she heard someone inside. Police responded and found a squirrel in the living room.

Juveniles charged with stealing $662 of merchandise

Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1:15 p.m. — Three juvenile girls were arrested at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with shoplifting from Nordstrom and H & M.

Peacock on the run

Thursday, Nov. 10, 1:14 p.m.Police spotted a loose peacock at the 26700 block of Hendon Road. It was gone when the animal warden arrived.

$1,100 charged on lost debit card

Thursday, Nov. 10, 2:04 p.m. — A woman reported to police that she lost her debit card in the parking lot of True North Shell at 26100 Chagrin Boulevard and over $1,100 of fraudulent charges were made to it.

Man, woman charged with $400 shoplift

Friday, Nov. 11, 1:25 p.m. — A man was arrested at Dillard's at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing $400 in merchandise. A woman was arrested for complicity and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Rock used to burglarize vehicle

Friday, Nov. 11, 7:19 p.m. — A woman reported that someone threw a rock through her car window while it was parked at 21625 Chagrin Boulevard and her neice’s purse and its contents, valued at $202, was stolen.
