Snoring man causes alarm at hotel

Dec. 30, 7:16 a.m. — Police were called to the Fairfield Inn after someone said that a man, wrapped in blankets, was sleeping in the hall. When police arrived, they questioned the man, who said that he was sleeping in the hall so that his snoring would not disturb his wife.

Woman charged with stealing at Dillard’s

Dec. 30, 1:54 p.m. — A woman was arrested at Dillard’s at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing $263 of merchandise.

Drunken man crashes on I-271

Dec. 30, 11:01 p.m. — Police responded to a single car crash on Interstate 271 near Shaker Boulevard. A southbound car lost control and spun out, landing the median. Police charged the driver with drunken driving and he was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
