Shaker Heights Centennial Light Installation: Last Chance
The light installation at Horseshoe Lake Park ends this Sunday, Sept. 16. Check it out, and make sure to come back and share your photos with Patch.
This is the final weekend to see the light installation at Horseshoe Lake Park in Shaker Heights.
The Shaker Heights Centennial Light Installation, created by artist Barry Underwood, will glow until this Sunday, Sept. 16.
Underwood placed lights among the trees along South Park between Park Drive and Attleboro. The privately funded public art installation is part of Shaker's centennial celebration.
Underwood is a Cleveland Institute of Art faculty member and is working on projects for the new Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and Cleveland Clinic. His Shaker centennial project was done as part of a partnership with LAND studio.
The light installation made for some beautiful photos. Thanks to Mark Zetzer, who shared his photos, and check out the shots we took. Please share your photos here, too, and we'll feature them on our home page and Facebook page!
