Beachwood City Schools has $466,000 in federal funding that could see cuts this year after the U.S. Senate did not agree on legislation that would stop $85 billion in budget cuts before it adjourned for the weekend Thursday night.
The biggest chunk of federal funding in the school district is used for children with disabilities — under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act — at nearly $360,000.
