Driver of car with “shredded” flat tire had warrant, no license

Monday, Feb. 27, 6:28 p.m. — Police pulled over a car with a shredded tire traveling on Richmond Road. The driver did not have a license and had an arrest warrant and was arrested.

Parents steal son’s information

Monday, Feb. 27, 7:24 p.m. — A Beachwood man told police he believes his parents have used his information to open accounts for utilities and car leases.

Car parts store truck stopped for no brake lights on 271

Tuesday, Feb. 28, 6:10 p.m. — A NAPA auto parts store truck was stopped by police on Interstate 271 for driving without brake lights. Police told him to use his flashers and did not cite him.

Two charged with Sephora shoplifiting

Thursday, March 1, 6:09 p.m. — An adult and a juvenile were arrested at Sephora at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing $386 of merchandise.

Police: Woman detained for shoplifting “fainted”

Sunday, March 4, 1:58 p.m. — Police responded to Children’s Place at the Beachwood Place Mall on a theft report. “While officers were on scene investigating, the adult female suspect ‘fainted’ and was subsequently transported to the hospital,” the report states. Charges for theft and obstructing official business are pending.

Police break up juveniles fighting at Mandel JCC

Sunday, March 4, 7:16 p.m. — Police responded to a report of several juveniles fighting in the parking lot of the Mandel Jewish Community Center. Pepper Pike Police were called to assist.
