Woman charged with stealing at Dillard’s

Jan. 18, 3:28 p.m. — A woman was arrested at Dillard’s at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with stealing $308 of merchandise.

Man charged with driving with open container

Jan. 20, 11:31 p.m. — A man was arrested on Chagrin Boulevard at Interstate 271 and charged with drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol in his car.

Attempted burglary reported

Jan. 20, 1:11 p.m. — Police responded to a burglary alarm on Hyde Park and found signs of attempted forced entry.
