PHOTOS: Beachwood Shop Teaches DIY Scarves for Fall

Ewes D'Bleu Yarns of Distinction holds knitting, crocheting classes and open knitting weekly for all levels

File away the flip-flops. Fall officially arrives on Friday. While it's not quite sweater weather, a scarf or two can keep the chills away. Scarves are easy, do-it-yourself projects that  a novice can master.

Helen Graziano, owner of the  said most of the projects only take a single skein of yarn. And the yarn isn't plain anymore; it comes bedazzled with beads and multicolored tufts of wool.

Graziano says beginners are welcome to stop in. The shop offers classes in knitting and crochet and hosts open knitting on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.
