New Hospital Coming to Beachwood

Inpatient rehabilitation center expected to employ 150

University Hospitals announced yesterday that it will expand its presence in Beachwood with a new rehabilitation hospital that is expected to employ about 150 people.

The network will build a $17 million, 50,000 square-foot, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility at Green and Harvard Roads. The project is scheduled to begin in October and be complete in October 2012.

The project is in partnership with Nashville-based Centerre Healthcare Corporation, a national inpatient service provider.
